UK pledges ??15m ($28m) in quake & tsunami aid

The UK government says it has pledged ??15m to help the victims of the Asian earthquake and tsunami. This is an initial
payment in a long term commitment to helping the people in the devastated area, said a government spokesman.


Oxfam UK said it raised a record amount of money yesterday.
